Dr. Parker has been actively involved in the creation of the clinical data warehouse and in the development of population health scorecards that use electronic data capture to guide quality improvement projects. He also participated in the design of an online electronic data capture system and research data repository at MU. Additionally, he is site PI of the Greater Plains Network CDRN (Phase II) project at MU, where he oversees IT personnel and implementation of that project. He oversees the MU-iCATS Clinical Research Center, and develops policy and procedures to support investigators in patient recruitment. Dr. Parker serves as Vice President of the Missouri Innovation Center, which is a nonprofit entity that seeks to stimulate commercialization of MU technology and operates the Life Sciences Incubator at Monsanto Place. In 2014, the MU Medical Alumni Organization presented him with an Honorary Medical Alumni Award.
