Jon Marsh, PhD

Jon earned his PhD in applied physics and worked for over 20 years in diverse cross-disciplinary environments to develop and improve tools for medical imaging and tissue characterization. He is currently involved in the development of deep learning techniques to assist pathologists in rapid evaluation of whole-slide microscopy images in the context of organ transplantation, with the goal of reducing organ discard and improving recipient outcome.
