Dawn King, PhD, is the inaugural Director of the Enhanced AI Center for Human Focused Research at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where she leads strategy, partnerships, and technical foundations for responsible AI at scale. Her work turns advanced models into reliable, monitored systems in clinical and other sensitive data environments. Previously, she founded, directed, and scaled the Geoscience and AI Applications Lab at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, establishing a durable university partnership model and moving an ML based global gravity capability from concept to production. Her interests include GeoAI, physics informed methods, and privacy preserving learning.
