As an evolving researcher in biomedical informatics and data science, I am committed to advancing healthcare through precision data-driven solutions. My academic journey, beginning with a double major bachelor’s in mathematics and computer science, two master’s degree in computer science and biostatistics and data science, laid a strong foundation for my research endeavors. Currently, as a PhD candidate in biostatistics and data science at University of Kansas Medical Center, my work focuses on developing predictive models that integrate multi-dimensional electronic healthcare records to enhance clinical decision-making. I am passionate about creating neural network models that are both accurate and clinically relevant, with the potential to revolutionize personalized medicine. My experiences working with interdisciplinary teams have underscored the importance of collaboration and diverse perspectives in solving complex healthcare challenges. I am also a biomedical informatics software engineer that leverages deep learning architectures, predictive statistical modeling and big data analytics to improve healthcare outcomes.
